The managing director of Hadejia-Jama’are River Basin Development Authority (HJRBDA), Rabi’u Sulaiman, has commended President Bola Tinubu and the leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for passing a “resounding vote of confidence” in the party’s national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.

Sulaiman made the commendation in a statement issued to newsmen in Kano yesterday.

“I most sincerely thank Mr President, in a significant show of unity and support, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for passing a resounding vote of confidence in the National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

“This endorsement solidifies Dr Ganduje’s position at the helm of the party, allowing him to lead the APC through to 2026,” the statement reads.

He said the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party also played a pivotal role in the affirmation, publicly endorsing Ganduje’s continued leadership.

The managing director said their collective support reflected a commitment to steering the party towards greater achievements and enhancing its influence in Nigeria’s political landscape.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to President Tinubu and the NEC for their unwavering confidence in Dr. Ganduje.

“This decision not only recognizes his exemplary leadership but also emphasizes the party’s dedication to maintaining stability and progress as it navigates the challenges ahead.

“Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has proven to be a capable leader, successfully guiding the APC to victory in critical off-season gubernatorial elections in Imo, Kogi, Edo, and Ondo states.

“His strategic vision and commitment to the party’s ideals have set a strong foundation for future successes, and we appreciate his tireless efforts in enhancing the party’s reputation and electoral strength.

“As the APC looks forward to the upcoming years, I am optimistic that under Dr Ganduje’s continued leadership, the party will not only uphold its core values but also achieve new milestones that resonate with the aspirations of Nigerians.

“I once again thank President Tinubu, the NEC, and Dr Ganduje for their dedication to the party and the nation. Together, let us work towards a brighter future for the APC and the people of Nigeria,” Bichi added.
