The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has starred as a guest judge on Australia’s favourite cooking show, MasterChef Australia.
The famous foodie made a screen appearance while on the trip to Australia with Prince Harry, who was on his own solo outings on April 15, which comprised a visit to the charity Movember and meeting veterans at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
Meghan Markle is reported to have mentored and guided some of Australia’s home cooks, alongside judges Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli.
A video clip posted by Australia’s Channel 10 on Instagram saw Yeow, 52, presenting Meghan to the culinary show.
Yeow told the contestants who clapped and cheered as Meghan made her entrance, “We’ve had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before, but no one like this.”
The official MasterChef Australia Instagram platform equally posted, “We’re welcoming someone SUPER special into the MasterChef Kitchen. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, makes a special guest appearance this season as she returns to Australia for the first time since 2018.”
It went on to say that she would be joining a star-studded lineup of guest Judges and culinary icons.
