American singer, Miley Cyrus’ has released the music video of ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Wanted’, a song from his latest album, ‘Something Beautiful’.
The video featured the singer with supermodel Naomi Campbell, the latter who speaks the lines – ‘Pose, she has the perfect scent. Pose, she speaks the perfect French’, followed by a spoken word take of the bridge of the song.
In ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved’, Miley speaks to men who in the search for ‘the one’ leaves a trail of broken-hearted women whom they drain yet refuse to give their hearts to. ‘Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved’ has an 80s feel to it – from the sound (RnB, Pop Rock, and Psychedelic) and in the costume, and video concept.
Commenting on the song on Miley’s YouTube handle, Campbell said: “So proud to be a part of this powerful moment with you, Miley. Your vision, your voice, your heart – it all shines through. Thank you for including me in this project. Who else is obsessed with this video?”
Netizens fans were thrilled with the video commenting –
“I don’t care what people say … this album was ahead of its time,” @Miles-ud6rh
“Not Naomi Campbell giving us spoken word!!” @Garyforshort
“The fusion of RnB with Jazz and 70s psychedelic. Everyone’s streaming end of the world but this is the hit for me.” @psg1899
“Unlike other singers out there solely looking for the next TikTok sound bite to go viral or chasing the ‘sound of the week’, Miley has truly crafted an album meant to be timeless and truly meaningful. Time will give her due flowers for all the work put out in recent years. True work of artistry and carving her own lane.” @juanramos2758
“She (Miley) brought back a genre that hasn’t been popular for decades and she is outstanding as an artiste with creativity. We won’t get this from just any artiste, so, thank you Miley.” @MariaVinfinity
Others while fans of the singer and the song, couldn’t get past the technical glitch in the video which the audio isn’t synchronizing with the visual.
“The video is iconic! Just that the editor might not have aligned the lip sync properly. Feel the same?” @robinsoraisam
The editor fumbled a bit with matching the lips to the lip-syncs but these two are fab together.” @DelilahDee
“YouTube isn’t processing the video well. I remember watching it for the first few hours. it didn’t lag, and the lip syncing matched the music.
