Mob Kills Suspected Mad Man In Adamawa

Police have confirmed the killing of a suspected “mad man” for allegedly attacking a couple at Jabbi Lamba in Girei local government area of Adamawa State.

The mentally sick Adamu was killed shortly after he had attacked the couple.
Eyewitness said the deceased was armed with a machete, which he used to attack the couple leaving them critically injured.

The victims are receiving treatment at the Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital in Yola, Adamawa State.
The spokesman of the Adamawa State Police Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, confirmed the incident.

Nguroje, advised the general public to take their relatives who are not mentally sound to psychiatric hospital for treatment rather than leaving them to roam around in the society.
