As Christians prepare for the 2024 Advent Season, which celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ, gospel artists Moses Bliss, Sinach, and Nathaniel Bassey are set to lead Abuja residents in songs of praise.

Moses Bliss will kick off the festivities with his free event, the ‘Bliss Experience,’ scheduled for October 25 at ThisDay Dome Abuja, from 5 to 10pm.

On November 3, renowned gospel artist Sinach will present ‘Sinach Live In Abuja: Victory Sounds’ at the Velodrome, Moshood Abiola National Sports Complex, promising a transformative worship experience.

For those who prefer worshiping from home, Nathaniel Bassey’s ‘14 Days October Hallelujah Challenge’ will run from October 14 to 27, 2024, starting each night at 11:59 pm on YouTube.

Founded in 2017 by Nathaniel Bassey, this online event has grown significantly, now in its seventh edition and typically occurring twice a year. Inspired by Acts 16:25-26 during a prayer pilgrimage in Israel, Bassey felt led to praise God for an hour, which sparked the event’s inception.

The Hallelujah Challenge has attracted over 400,000 viewers, with some comparing its reach to filling the 6,000-seat Eko Convention Center multiple times. Advertisers have hailed it as a major growth hack, transforming Bassey’s following into a substantial fanbase. Bassey has emphasized that his intention was purely to follow God’s instruction, stating, “From the first day, 400 people joined and shared testimonies of miracles. Within days, the numbers grew exponentially.”

Reflecting on the upcoming Hallelujah Challenge, Bassey expressed, “This is one of the most wonderful times of the year. It’s a special opportunity for praise, worship, and fellowship with believers worldwide. Heaven will hear us, and we will be thoroughly blessed as we honor God during this season.”
