NASC Appoints Yero As Deputy Clerk To National Assembly

The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has announced the appointment of Engr. Bashir Aminu Yero as the Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly (DCNA).

The Commission approved Yero’s appointment on Tuesday during an emergency meeting that held in Abuja.

Additionally, the NASC approved the appointment of the Director of Finance and Accounts, Ibrahim Atiku as the Secretary of the Directorate of Procurement and Supplies.

Meanwhile, the former Secretary, Directorate of Procurement and Supplies, Engr. Liman Baba Sanda has been redeployed as the Secretary of Estate and Works.

The appointments were conveyed through letters signed by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Engr. Ahmed Kadi Amshi.

The Commission noted that the promotions and redeployments were in recognition of the appointees’ dedication and administrative competence and urged them to uphold the trust placed in them.

The new appointments and redeployments will take effect on 2nd February, 2025.

NASC also recently appointed Barrister Kamoru Ogunlana as the substantive Clerk to the National Assembly with his appointment also effective from February 2, 2025.
