Nigerian Association of Small-Scale Industrialists (NASSI) has expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, for the Presidential Grant and House-to-House Grant programmes under the Renewed Hope Agenda initiatives to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

In a statement issued by the chairman, Chief Dakta Solomon Daniel Vongfa, NASSI praised the government for using the programmes to support SMEs across Nigeria, including a significant number of NASSI members.

Also, NASSI’s national treasurer, Dr Abubakar Bala Tanko, highlighted the positive impact these grants would have on the growth of SMEs.

“The Presidential Grant and House-to-House Grant will empower SMEs to grow their businesses, create jobs, and contribute more significantly to the national economy. We are particularly grateful for recognising SMEs’ crucial role in Nigeria’s development,” Tanko stated.

Vongfa added that NASSI looks forward to collaborating with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment to ensure the successful implementation of these programmes and maximise their positive impact on NASSI members and SMEs nationwide.
