Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has conducted training for its middle cadre staff. The training which was themed, “Policy making, Security Management in a dynamic world” took place in the three states of the Niger Delta region; Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa states.

Speaking at the training event, the commission’s deputy director of human resources, Chris Ekam lauded the efforts of the board in training the staff and admonished participants to pay close attention and take maximum advantage of the training as it would form part of the basis for their promotion.

“ I enjoin all participants to be mindful of what this training entails, as it can appear in the promotion exams, so make sure to take maximum advantage of this training session,” he said.

Commenting on the relevance of the training to staff, the NDDC director for Cross River,  Ene-Okpo Ene-Ita reiterated that policy making cuts across all levels as its implementation produces a broadband response and enjoined all participants to actively participate.

“Policy making is everybody’s business, it cuts across all cadres and so it is important that the participants take all they have learnt seriously and implement what they have learnt in the execution of their duties,” he said.
