New Service Chiefs Will Halt Killings In Plateau – Gov Mutfwang

Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb  Mutfwang has expressed confidence in the ability of the new service chiefs and acting inspector general of police to halt the ongoing onslaught by terrorists in some parts of Nigeria, particularly his state.

Governor Mutfwang in a statement  issued in Jos by the director of press and public affairs, Gyang Bere, said the appointments were critical and timely at this period in  nation when its territorial integrity is being threatened by insecurity. 

He said his administration was committed  to work closely with the new service chiefs and the security apparatus at the federal level to put an end to the bloodletting in the state.

He described the service chiefs as competent, foresighted and courageous and expressed the belief that they would bring their wealth of experience to bear in tackling security challenges confronting the nation.

While congratulating them, he prayed that God gives them compassionate hearts and sound minds to bring the situation in Plateau and Nigeria under total control to ensure the security and protection of Nigerians.
