Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Referee Committee has taken disciplinary actions against two match officials Ubong Amos Ekpanku (referee) and Emmanuel Ufi (asstant referee 1) who officiated in the Nigeria National League (NNL) Matchday 4 game between Solution FC and First Bank FC on January 4/5, 2025.

According to the committee, the match official’s decisions during the game were not in line with the Laws of the Game. As a result, the official has been “stepped down” with immediate effect.

This decision is aimed at maintaining the integrity and standard of refereeing in Nigerian football. The NFF Referee Committee will continue to monitor and evaluate the performance of match officials to ensure that they adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and fairness.
