Nickelback will return to Australia in October 2027 for its first shows in the country since 2019, bringing British rock band Don Broco along as support.
The seven-date run will close the band’s 2027 world tour and promote its upcoming 11th studio album, Everything Under the Sun, scheduled for release on October 30 through Virgin Music Group.
The Australian leg begins at Perth’s RAC Arena on October 2 before moving to Adelaide, Melbourne and Geelong. Further stops include Brisbane on October 12, Sydney on October 14 and Roche Estate in Pokolbin, New South Wales, on October 16.
General ticket sales are scheduled to open on Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m. local time, with presales taking place earlier in the week.
The tour follows Nickelback’s North American dates, which begin in Pittsburgh on February 6, and its UK and European shows scheduled between May 22 and July 13.
The group’s new album follows 2022’s Get Rollin’ and its departure from BMG. Its lead single, “Rattle the Cage”, featuring guitarist John 5, has reached No. 1 on US active rock radio, according to the tour announcement. “Leave Me Behind” and “Make Me Love You” have also been released.
Nickelback’s catalogue includes the chart-topping hit “How You Remind Me” and the diamond-certified album All the Right Reasons.
