The Niger Delta Youth Parliament (NDYP) has urged all ministers from the region to demonstrate their capacity and deliver visible results according to their individual ministerial mandates.

The NDYP also extends its appreciation to President Tunibu for his exceptional insight in selecting credible young individuals from across the Niger Delta Region as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Addressing journalists in Abuja on Monday, its speaker, Rt. Hon. Ifon Daniel Samuel, stated that ministers must swiftly reciprocate the confidence placed in them by President Tinubu and the expectations of Nigerians through excellent service display, refraining from giving any excuses.

Samuel further describes the choice of ministers as the best in recent times, showcasing President Tinubu’s willingness to address Nigeria’s developmental challenges.

“We are confident that the President has the political will to tackle Nigeria’s developmental challenges. Hence, we urge all ministers from the Niger Delta Region to collaborate with the President in delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians without making any excuses.”

Furthermore, Ifon Daniel reiterates the Parliament’s commitment to supporting sound government policies that drive sustainable development based on youth development and empowerment, while also pledging to resist any form of economic sabotage.

“We are all aware of the sacrifices Nigerians are making to steer the country in the right direction. Therefore, no excuses whatsoever will be entertained or tolerated from any minister across the Niger Delta Region. Get to work, make Nigerians happy, and rebuild their trust.”
