Niger State Commissioner of Police Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman has emphasized the urgent need for aggressive action in synergy with the state government to combat illegal mining activities within the state.

The commissioner stated this during a courtesy visit yesterday by the Niger State Ministry of Mineral Resources led by the commissioner, Alhaji Garba Sabo Yahaya.

The ministry visited to seek the police’s support and assistance in effectively addressing the issue of illegal mining.
