Nigeria To Host WAFU B U 17 Championship

Nigeria will host the WAFU B U-17 Championship in September 2025.

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Ibrahim Gusau, made the announcement during a visit to Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.

The newly renovated MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta and Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne will host matches during the competition.

Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger Republic Togo, Benin and Ghana will participate in the tournament.
The competition will serve as a qualifier for the 2025 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

The top teams at the tournament will qualify for the U-17 AFCON.
