A communication expert, Brukeme Dickson, has said that Nigerian public relations, marketing and media firms possess the creativity, cultural depth and youthful energy required to compete effectively on the global stage.
Speaking during a forum in Lagos yesterday, she noted that the Nigerian creative ecosystem has consistently demonstrated its ability to shape conversations, influence trends and produce campaigns that resonate beyond Africa.
She added that by leveraging digital innovation, data-driven storytelling and authentic African narratives, local firms can position themselves as global partners for brands seeking fresh perspectives and deeper engagement with emerging markets.
She also spoke about the achievements of Red Media Africa, a public relations agency and empowerment marketing division under the parent company, RED, based in Nigeria, which won three awards at the recently held World Communication Forum Association awards in Davos.
According to Dickson, who is also the firm’s Account Director, the company’s triple win at the Davos Communications Awards 2026 confirmed that Red Media Africa’s work was not only shaping narratives across the continent but also competing and winning at the highest global level.
