The Nigerian Legion has passed out 220 commissionaires in Suleja, Niger State, with a warning against indiscipline and criminal conduct.

At the passing-out parade held at the Legion Training Ground, the National Chairman, Grace Morenike Henry, urged the new recruits to uphold professionalism and the values imparted during their training.

She stressed the Legion’s zero tolerance for misconduct, warning that any action capable of bringing the organisation into disrepute would attract dismissal.

Henry also cautioned the commissionaires against equating their paramilitary training with military status, noting that their role remains distinct and service-oriented.

She, however, assured the personnel of improved welfare and better opportunities, urging them to protect the image of the Legion.

The event marked the completion of Course 16 of the Corps of Commissionaires, with the Legion reaffirming its commitment to discipline and public service.
