A business mogul and vice chairman of KAM Holdings Limited, Mrs Bolanle Yusuf, has said that Nigerians have cause to celebrate Christmas and the New Year.

She said that the harsh economic situation of the country notwithstanding, Nigerians should give thanks to God for keeping the country together.

Yusuf spoke during the steel company’s 2024 Christmas Carol programme held in Ilorin, Kwara State capital.

“As we celebrate this year’s Christmas, it is especially important to give thanks to God regardless of our reality or situation of life. Apostle Paul reminds us in 1st Thessalonians 5:18: ‘In everything, give thanks; for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ for you.’

“This verse highlights that thanksgiving is not conditional; it does not rely on whether our circumstances are favourable or challenging. In every situation, we are called to trust in God’s purpose and express gratitude for His presence and guidance. This message is universal and speaks to all of us, whether we are Christians, Muslims, or of any other faith,” she admonished.

Mrs Yusuf added: “At Kam Holdings, we have much for which to be thankful. This year has brought its share of challenges, some of them difficult and unexpected. Yet, we remain grateful to God for His unfailing mercy and grace, which have enabled us to achieve remarkable milestones and make significant progress despite these obstacles. ”

In his sermon at the event, Revd Okanlawon of ECWA Church emphasised the need for people to know Jesus Christ, “who is the reason for the gathering and all that is attached to celebrating Christmas.”

Prophet Moses Adio of the Christ Apostolic Church, Alabukun headquarters, Ilorin, offered special prayer for the management and staff of the company.

The coordinator of Christian Forum at KAM Holdings, Evangelist S.T. Odeyemi, hailed the existing cordial relationship between the staff and management of the company.
