The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has announced the postponement of its inaugural Public Relations, Reputation, Ideas, Concepts and Excellence (PRICE) awards and prizes to January 25, 2026. The event was initially scheduled for today.
The shift was disclosed in a statement signed by the vice chairman of the National Planning Committee for the 2025 PRICE Awards, Omoniyi Ibietan, who explained that the postponement became necessary due to the early commencement of Christmas activities among key stakeholders, prompting the need to ensure full participation.
Chairman of the organising committee, Israel Opayemi, urged stakeholders to take note of the new date and prepare accordingly. He said the rescheduled event aimed to motivate professionals and enhance Nigeria’s global competitiveness within the public relations industry while strengthening brand equity for all stakeholders, including the NIPR.
Opayemi reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to delivering a best-in-class awards ceremony in January.
