Popular Nollywood actress, comedienne, YouTuber, and content creator, Favour Onyebuchi, has marked her birthday by supporting over 100 widows with cash donations and free medical services.
The actress, fondly known by her stage name, Favour Oma, also distributed bags of rice, wrappers and to the widows and vulnerable persons during an outreach, which she dedicated to the memory of her late mother, Mrs Rose Onyebuchi, who died as a widow.
Beyond the distribution of relief materials, the event also featured free medical screenings for diabetes, blood pressure, and other health-related challenges affecting widows and other residents who attended.
The event, which attracted widows, friends, family members and colleagues from the movie industry nationwide, was organised as part of activities to celebrate the actress’s birthday.
At the ceremony, Oma Favour said the widows’ empowerment and medical outreach were inspired by the life and struggles of her late mother.
The celebrant explained that beyond celebrating her birthday, she wanted to create an impact by reaching out to vulnerable women and encouraging them not to lose hope despite life’s challenges.
She reiterated her commitment to humanitarian causes and pledged to continue supporting the underprivileged.
