Traditional rulers in Northern Nigeria led by the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III , will converge on Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State for a two-day meeting to address key issues, particularly the North West zone that has experienced rising insecurity.

The meeting, LEADERSHIP gathered begins today and ends tomorrow.

Governor Nasir Idris is expected to declare the meeting open and the emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammed Iliyasu Bashar will be the host.

Already, some emirs from across the northern part of the country have arrived in Birnin Kebbi ahead of the parley.
