The founder of the Daily Kolos Media platform, Mr Irulo Wisdom, has emphasized the significance of being connected to social media in the present era, saying it is a missed opportunity for those who are not part of it.

The media guru revealed this in a chat with LEADERSHIP. According to him, not being a part of social media in today’s interconnected world represents a loss rather than a win.

Wisdom stated that engaging in social media offers a wide range of advantages, including but not limited to reputation-building, gaining recognition for one’s talents, and networking with like-minded individuals, among other benefits.

He encouraged people to be more active on social media and allocate more time to this digital landscape.

He, however, cautioned people to be mindful of the online communities they choose to join, emphasizing that affiliating with the wrong groups can have adverse consequences.

He stated, “The world is now connected, and I think it will be a loss on your side if you are not part of this connected global village.

“People should be more active on social media, build a reputation, establish a brand, and become known for something or join a very active community like ours and be able to be a well-known contributor. You should also connect with like-minded individuals who appreciate what you are doing and want to support your progress.”
