NPFL: Rangers, Rivers United Set for Winner-Takes-All Final Day Showdown

The 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season is set for one of its most dramatic conclusions in recent memory, with league leaders Enugu Rangers and second-placed Rivers United separated by just a single point heading into the final round of fixtures on Sunday(Today).

With the title, continental qualification, and relegation survival all on the line, the NPFL has prepared for every eventuality, including deploying two trophies to both potential championship venues to ensure a seamless coronation.

After 37 intensely contested matchdays, Rangers International sit at the summit with 65 points, while Rivers United are hot on their heels with 64.
