NPFL: Robbers Attack El-Kanemi Warriors

Players and officials of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, El-kanemi Warriors were attacked by armed robbers along Jos-Bauchi road on Saturday morning.

The team was returning to Maiduguri from Lagos where they lost 2-0 to Ikorodu City in a matchday 14 fixture on Wednesday.

According to reports, the attackers left several players and officials injured.They also made away with valuables, including phones and cash.

The injured persons are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital in Bauchi.

El-kanemi Warriors are scheduled to host Bayelsa United in Maiduguri on Sunday,(Today).The encounter is expected to be postponed by the NPFL.
