NUJ Applauds Governor Idris’ Efforts In 3 Years

Kebbi State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has applauded Governor Nasir Idris for the achievements of his administration within three years in office.

In a statement issued by the council chairman and secretary Comrade Bello Sarki Abubakar and Ismail Adebayo, the union also acknowledged the cordial working relationship between the government and journalists.

They said this has resulted in the governor’s respect for press freedom and recognition of the vital role of media representatives in promoting government’s programmes and activities in the state.

The council urged both the governor and the journalists to maintain the present tempo in the journey ahead.

They prayed for Allah’s continued guidance, wisdom, and strength and protection for the governor in his zeal to steering the state with utmost patriotism.
