As part of activities to mark the 63rd Independence Anniversary of the nation, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make a nationwide broadcast on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 7 am.
A terse statement by Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Saturday, said television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets were enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
LEADERSHIP earlier reported that President Tinubu had returned to Abuja after his two-week engagements abroad.
Recall that the President attended the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States, from September 18 to 26, 2023.
After New York, the President proceeded to France for a private visit.
Allso, on Sunday, the President will observe an Independence Day military parade at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
