Ohanaeze Hails Suleiman’s Emergence As Northern Elders’ Spokesman  

Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, has hailed the appointment of Abdul-Azeez Suleiman as the spokesman of the Northern Elders’ Forum.

Convener of the NEF, Prof Ango Abdullahi had in a letter he personally signed, notified Suleiman on his appointment as the spokesman of the elite Northern group.

He said the appointment was a reflection of Suleiman’s unwavering dedication and contributions towards promoting and protecting the interests of the North and Nigeria as a whole, during his time with the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG).

In a statement made available to journalists on Thursday, the National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, described Suleiman’s appointment as well deserved.

Okwu said as the spokesman of the Coalition of Northern Groups, Suleiman had demonstrated clear capacity to promote and defend common interests of the North, as well as build bridges towards fostering a united nation.
