Former Nigerian international captain, Sunday Oliseh, has lauded the exceptional performances of Ademola Lookman and Wilfred Ndidi following the Super Eagles’ impressive victory against Tunisia. Lookman, who was deservedly named Man of the Match, was instrumental in the thrilling contest, registering a goal and two crucial assists.
Ndidi, operating in midfield, netted Nigeria’s second goal five minutes after the break – a significant moment as it marked his inaugural international goal for the three-time African champions. Oliseh was evidently impressed by the duo’s contributions throughout the game.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Oliseh posted: “Lookman on Fire! Second assist and I personally love Ndidi’s attacking the ball to head Naija 2-0 up.”
The Super Eagles are now set to face the Cranes of Uganda in their final group stage fixture on Tuesday, aiming to consolidate their position at the top of the group.
