During the foundation laying ceremony at the Prayer City, Olukoya said the project is part of a fresh effort to deepen the relationship between the general public and Nigeria Police, for smooth policing and also to promote smooth security around the area.

The stakeholders, who spoke on the topic: “Managing Emerging Security Challenges in Churches” called on everyone to be security conscious because security is everybody’s business.

The participants during the security management training 2024, and awareness seminar for pastors, ministers, church workers, members, administrators and security operatives, which took place in Prayer City, Ogun State, unanimously agreed that the installation of CCTV cameras in public places would reduce the insecurity and other vices in the country.

In their separate addresses, the commandant of Corps, Ogun State command, David Idowu Ojelabi, charged religious, community, political gatherings to brace up to tackle security threat.

He urged them to  invest in security by setting up  CCTV cameras in all areas to act as additional security of life and property.

They said CCTV will often help to apprehend offenders, noting that security goes beyond the business of corporate bodies or governments alone, charging everyone to engage in their community policing to prevent a wave of high tech crimes.
