The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has announced the birth of a set of twins with his wife, Olori Mariam Ajibola (nee Anako).
The traditional ruler officially confirmed the arrival of the royal babies in a statement on Friday, May 15, 2026, expressing profound gratitude for the new additions to the Oduduwa lineage. The monarch described the birth of the twin princes as a season of abundant blessings for the ancient throne and the entire kingdom.
“To God be all the glory and adoration for His wondrous works and abundant blessings once again,” the Ooni stated. “Warmest congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and to Olori Mariam Ajibola on the joyous arrival of twin princes to the royal throne today. We give thanks to Almighty God as both mother and children are in good health.”
Olori Mariam Ajibola joined the royal household in 2022.
