Osun State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has again elected Dr Tosin Odeyemi as the chairman of the party at the state congress, where party executive members were elected for another 4-year term at the party secretariat in Osogbo, the state capital.

Other executive members, unanimously elected and affirmed at the Congress, include: Adekunle Abolade, Deputy Chairman; Hisa Oladeji, Secretary; Mofolasayo Makinde, Treasurer; Aderonke Aderemi, Financial Secretary; Olanrewaju Hassan, Internal Auditor; Olayode Abidemi, Youth Leader; Ajileye Balikis, Women’s Leader; and Olayode Olawumi, Legal Adviser.

During the Congress, which was witnessed by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission, led by Olalekan Olabayo, the chairman of the electoral committee, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, stated that the election was to elect new executives who would drive the party’s vision for the next four years.

In his remarks, Mr Zainuddeen Abdussalam, one of the representatives of the party from the national headquarters, “urged the new executives and members of the party to work together for the success of the party in the forthcoming elections.”

In his acceptance speech, Odeyemi, who expressed his gratitude to party members for re-electing him, reaffirmed his commitment to building a stronger party capable of winning elections in the state.
