The former Chief of Defence Staff disclosed this in an interview shortly after the Nasarawa state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule declared the two day programme open at the Ministry of local government, community development and chieftaincy affairs recently.

He said the group was formed by fifteen concerned personalities from five states including the worst hit by insecurity, from Nasarawa, Plateau, Niger, Kaduna and Taraba states, stating further that the essence of the meeting was not to give lecture to traditional rulers in the zone, but rather to dialogue with them to ensure peaceful co-existence among the people of the states.
