The Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, Femi Haruna, has reassured residents of his commitment to enhancing security across the state through the support of tactical teams.
The CP gave this assurance while receiving the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA), led by its chairperson, Justice Aderonke Adekemi Aderemi (Rtd.), accompanied by the Executive Adviser to the Governor on Rule of Law Enforcement, CP Sonubi Ayodele Olufemi (Rtd.), at the Oyo State Police Command Headquarters, Eleyele, Ibadan.
Haruna assured his command of the continued tactical support toward maintaining security in Oyo State.
He stressed the importance of intelligence sharing and coordinated efforts in tackling threats, noting that joint strategies will help strengthen operational effectiveness.
He reassured that the police command would respond promptly and effectively to specific threats and high-risk incidents, supporting OYRLEA’s mandate.
In her remarks, the chairperson of the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA) said the visit was aimed at strengthening the partnership between the Nigeria Police Force and the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA) to ensure seamless cooperation during enforcement and operational activities.
She commended the police and OYRLEA’s existing collaboration but called for deeper synergy and enhanced operational support, especially as enforcement exercises intensify across the state.
Aderemi explained that such collaboration will yield improved security outcomes and operational efficiency.
