Osun State chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has expressed shock and sadness over the news of the passing of two Kano State House of Assembly lawmakers: Sarki Aliyu Daneji, who represented Kano Municipal local government area, and Aminu Sa’adu, the representative of Ungogo local government area.
Expressing the party’s condolences to the government and people of Kano State in a release made available in Osogbo on Wednesday by the state publicity secretary of the party, Hon. Q. A.Odetara described the death as a significant loss to their families, constituencies and Kano State as a whole.
“On behalf of our members and leadership in Osun State, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the leadership of the Kano State House of Assembly and the families of the departed honourable members.
“Their demise is not only a significant loss to their constituencies but also to the democratic process and the NNPP family nationwide.
“Honourable Daneji and Honourable Sa’adu were dedicated public servants who gave their time, energy, and commitment to the service of their people.
“Their contributions to legislative development and grassroots representation will be remembered with respect and admiration”.
Osun NNPP prays that almighty Allah grants their souls eternal rest and gives their families, colleagues, and the people of Kano State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
