The PDP alleged that the APC was planning to plant its members as ad-hoc staff in yesterday’s election in Imo State.

The party in a statement signed by the director, media and publicity, Ikenna Onuoha, alleged that a women leader of the APC was caught taking delivery of election  materials in Owerri.

The party said it would not allow APC members to serve as INEC staff in the election.

“APC members cannot serve as ad-hoc staff. The PDP has busted plans by the APC to plant its members as ad-hoc staff to conduct elections in Imo State.

“This is part of the rigging plots designed by the compromise Imo REC, Prof. Sylvia Agu. The people of Imo State know such APC members and will not accept them as INEC officers.

“INEC should remove such APC members and re-profile their staff to avert to avoid compromise,” he said.
