A governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ondo State, Deacon Tubosun Thompson Arebuwa, has promised to make the state the hub of technology in Nigeria if elected.

Arebuwa, who also promised to unbundle the state economy with technology, assured that he would bring his wealth of experience to bear in galvanizing the development of the state.

Declaring his intention to contest the 2024 governorship election in the state at the PDP secretariat in Akure, the state capital on Tuesday revealed that, through his Foundation, he had begun the project by training 10 youths from Ode-Aye in Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state in modern global technological skills that would make them globally compliant.

According to him, “I am extending the training to all the 18 local government areas of the state by selecting at least three persons from each local government.”

While assuring that he would remain in the PDP no matter the outcome of the party’s primary, the PDP chieftain noted that he had been a founding member of the party in 1998.
