The group stated this while commending the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, for his efforts in building peace and stabilising the Niger Delta region.

The group described Otuaro’s leadership as one that has created a conducive environment for investment opportunities in the region.

In a communique after a stakeholders meeting in Warri, Delta State, the APC Youth Network’s South-South national coordinator, Comr. Theophilus Ebiama acknowledged Otuaro’s commitment to engaging stakeholders, addressing grievances, and promoting economic development.

“Otuaro’s peacebuilding initiatives have been instrumental in reducing tensions and creating an enabling environment for investors to explore the region’s vast potential,” he said.

He noted that Otuaro’s stabilisation efforts have led to increased oil production, improved security, and enhanced economic activities in the region.

He also added that Otuaro’s leadership has not only restored hope but has also attracted new investments, creating jobs and empowering youths in the region.

Ebiama reiterated the network’s support and urged other stakeholders to support Otuaro’s initiatives, ensuring the sustenance of peace and development in the Niger Delta region.

“We believe that with continued support, the region will witness unprecedented growth, and its vast resources will be harnessed for the benefit of all Nigerians,” he said.
