Chairman of the Anog Group of Companies, Dr Sampson Uchenna Charles, along with his esteemed partner, has been awarded the National Malta Award by the Head of State of Malta.
This honour reflects his outstanding contributions to humanitarian efforts, his resilience, and his unwavering commitment to societal growth.
The event took place at the Malta State House and drew the attention of industry leaders, development partners, and prominent business figures from around the globe.
During the ceremony, the head of state recognised Dr Charles as a philanthropist and leader of integrity, highlighting his crucial role in alleviating human suffering through his initiatives.
Ambassador Sirajo Abdullahi Zalanga, personal assistant to Charles on Media and Communication, emphasised that the awardee is not only a successful international lawyer and businessman but also a philanthropist who transcends tribal affiliations.
The beneficiary hails from Ihiala town in the Ihiala local government area of Anambra State, South East Nigeria.
He was born into the family of Ezeanya Ezeluobi Ndi Igbo Charles Ibeagwa.
His mission centres on fostering unity amid Nigeria’s diversity, addressing unemployment, and transforming the socioeconomic and political frameworks to cultivate a more productive and sustainable nation.
He is driven by a strong mission to lead amidst seasoned figures who have long pursued leadership in the country.
