LEADERSHIP reports that sensitive and non-sensitive materials were seen at various polling units visited as officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were seen conducting accreditation of voters at polling units.

There was large turnout of voters at Gangwari Palace, Sanga-sumi, Kangaraso, Anguwan Leko, among other polling units in the early part of the exercise.

The election is to fill the vacuum created by the death of former House of Assembly member, Hon. Abdulmalik Jauro Musa.

The deceased was the member representing Ganye State Constituency from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and was the Deputy Minority Whip in the Assembly until his death.

Meanwhile, restriction of movement by people were partially complied as traders displayed their wares at the popular Yam Market as the exercise proceeded.
