The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, in the company of the members of Force Management Team (FMT), has conducted a strategic inspection tour of hightech security gadgets manufactured in Nigeria.

The inspection was conducted at the premises of the security gadgets’ manufacturer, Briech UAS in Kuje Area Council, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Tuesday.

The tour included engagements with tech entrepreneurs, demonstrations of surveillance tools, drone-based patrol systems, and several other technological developments established by Nigerian Tech Gurus. The IGP also reaffirmed the Police Force’s readiness to collaborate with the Nigerian tech ecosystem to co-develop scalable, security-focused solutions tailored to the country’s unique challenges.

A statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said this initiative aligned with the strategic direction of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to enhance operational efficiency, foster transparency, and strengthen trust through innovation-driven policing.
