The Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, at the weekend, marked his second anniversary on the throne with the installation of prominent sons and daughters of Ogbomoso land as High Chiefs
The event, which coincided with the second day of the ongoing 2nd Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival, attracted Indigenes and guests from within and outside Ogbomoso land, Oyo State, including those from the diaspora.

“With thanksgiving to God and deep reverence for our cherished heritage, I had the privilege of installing distinguished sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland into revered chieftaincy titles — positions that embody responsibility, service, and enduring legacy.
“I installed Prof. Adeshola Olatunde Adepoju and Mrs. Omotayo Adepoju as Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ogbomosoland; Sir Olusegun Adeyemi Adekunle and Mrs. Sinmilade Adebanke Adekunle as Asipa and Yeye Asipa of Ogbomosoland; Rear Admiral (Rtd.)
