The Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the newly crowned Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, in Oyo Town.

Oba Olaoye disclosed this in a post on Facebook, seen by LEADERSHIP on Wednesday.

“I had the distinct honour of paying a courtesy visit to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade I, the newly crowned Alaafin of Oyo, at his palace,” the Soun said.

He added that the visit went beyond the exchange of royal courtesies, “it was a meeting of minds and hearts, united by a shared commitment to the prosperity of our people.

“We shared warm moments, profound reflections, and a collective vision for the future of our respective towns and our beloved Oyo State. Our conversation centered on peace, progress, and the kind of purposeful leadership that uplifts communities.

“We are convinced that when our thrones work together, our people thrive.”
