Police in Adamawa State have arrested 32-year-old carpenter, Mika Bitrus, a resident of Sangere area of Adamawa State, for allegedly raping a four-year-old child of his neighbour.
The police attached to Girei Division on patrol along Sangere Girei road arrested the man following a complaint by the mother of the baby, Fatsuma Abdullahi.
The state commissioner of police, Afolabi Babatola, assured that people with such attitude would never escape punishment.
The police said he would be arraigned in court after investigation is completed.
