SP Edafe Bright, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed that preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects had been in the business for about two years, and usually buy the drugs at Onitsha and travel at night to evade arrest.

The suspects were taken into custody while efforts to arrest their suppliers and receivers are ongoing.
Similarly, the command rescued a kidnapped victim unhurt in Ovian Aladja, Delta State.
