He charged the newly decorated police officers to behave in a more matured and disciplined manner pointing out that they are now superior police officers.
The commissioner of police noted that recently, a total of 317 police sergeants in the state got promoted to the position of inspectors.

He said the state command recommended the promoted officers to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) in consideration of their commitment to duties.
He urged them to reciprocate the gesture by rededicating themselves to protecting the lives and property of the citizens.

“I urge you to be on your toes to rid the state of criminal elements. I also want to express appreciation to the IGP for his support to the state command,” he said.
