PSC spokesperson Ikechukwu Ani said the newly promoted officers took written and oral examinations at the commission’s corporate headquarters.

Also, PSC chairman DIG Hashimu Argungu, while reacting to the promotion, said both written and oral examinations would henceforth be prerequisites for promotion in all the cadres of the Nigeria Police Force.

He noted that officers of the Nigeria Police Force should deliberately continue to improve and expose themselves to global best practices,  including proficiency in ICT.
