This was disclosed over the weekend by the executive vice chairman/CEO, NASENI and head of the management team, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, when he paid a courtesy visit to the inspector general of police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun at the Force headquarters, Abuja.

Halilu said he was happy to join the IGP to kickstart a vital conversation regarding collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure to revamp the Force’s moribund vehicles and operational assets.

He said that getting these assets back in operation will greatly boost the capacity of Nigeria Police to fulfil their mandate of securing the lives and property of Nigerians.

“Security, one of the cornerstones of human existence, is the second item on President Bola Tinubu’s eight-point Renewed Hope agenda.

He expressed gratitude to the inspector-general of police, for the warm welcome, and the fruitful discussion.

In his remarks, the IGP promised to work closely with NASENI in line with President Bola Tinubu’s eight-point Renewed Hope agenda. He thanked the management team for finding time to visit his office.
