Police Thwart Kidnap Attempt On Kaduna Monarch, Wife Missing

The Kaduna State Police Command has disrupted a kidnap attempt by gunmen on the paramount ruler of Ninzo in Sanga local government area, Alhaji Umar Musa.

The spokesperson of the Command, ASP Masir Hassan, narrated to Journalists that the Chief’s wife is still nowhere to be found.

Mansir disclosed that security operatives have already deployed troops to the forests around the local government to search for the missing wife.

The President and Secretary of the Ninzo Development Association, Prof. Moses Audi and Silas Anche, have in a statement condemned the attempted kidnap of the traditional ruler which eventually led to his wife’s disappearance.

The association also urged the people to remain calm and cooperate with government officials as they carry out their responsibilities.
