TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 9:16-23
As you do this, many will be saved and brought to the Lord.
Hebrews 2:3. If you have been hearing the word of God and you are not doing anything about it, how will you escape if you neglect the great salvation? If you are born again and your acquaintances are not because you never tell them about salvation, how will you be saved if you neglect the great salvation?
2 Peter 3:9. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise of coming again but is long-suffering and taking His time for the sake of the unsaved. He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. You must have the same mind, thereby, sharing the gospel of salvation to all.
Titus 2:11-14. Salvation is by grace, Christ shed His blood and provided salvation which the people will not have until they are told. He has done all there is to be done by giving Himself for us. In our preaching, the need for salvation must be clearly spelt out to sinners. They must repent, reject and abandon ungodliness, occultism and sinfulness in all forms and come to the Lord for salvation. After this is achieved, they become new creatures in Christ and live soberly and in the fear of God in this present world.
2 Corinthians 6:2-3. As you go out and tell them this, ensure to bring them to make a decision. Today is the day of salvation, no one knows what will happen tomorrow. Help and encourage them to make the decision today.
As the Lord went out with the Apostles and they succeeded in winning souls to Him, so He will go and be with you, the Spirit of God will take the words from your mouth and with them convict and bring your converts to salvation and you will not meet your Saviour empty-handed on the last day. Amen and Amen.
