The final matches of this year’s President Federation Cup competition are scheduled to take place this weekend across 35 States and the Federal Capital Territory. Lagos State is the sole exception, having been granted a deferral by the NFF.
As announced last month, all State and FCT finals are to be held on Saturday, 25th April, or Sunday, 26th April. These will be followed by the National Play-off before the draw for the National Competition.
NFF’s Director of Competitions, Ruth David, reiterated that any State failing to play its final match this weekend (excluding Lagos, where the proposed venue is in use for an official government function) will incur a fine of N1,000,000.
