The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Huzzle Records, Babatunde Oyebode a.k.a Baudex has given reasons they recently unveiled two music artists under the label, named Psypro and Popito. The two artists, Ebuka Jude Ezerioha, otherwise known as Popito and Onyekachi Okechukwu with the stage name, Psypro, according to Baudex, have qualities that resonate with the ideals of the label.
Psypro is a singer, rapper and producer who grew up in Festac town/Extension. His music style is rich in melodies that reflect his love for Afro-pop and Patois. He infuses a mix of comedy and musical expertise in his lyrics,” he said.
“He has imbibed various elements of music in his style. His content, which is laced with rhythmic melody and lyrics is a mix of comic patois, Afro vibe and rhythm, forming his own unique music art that distinguishes him from any other person out there,” Baudex added.
On Popito, Baudex was quick to point out that the artist has an edge over many upcoming artists like himself because he is a drummer, a pianist, a singer, sound producer and a performing artist.
“Having started music at an early stage in life, Popito understands the fundamentals of music. He has carved a niche for himself as a result of his vocal power and eclectic sound rooted in African culture and tradition.
“ He is a multi-dimensional artist with talents and passion for evolving and experimenting with different genres,” he said.
Huzzle Records started about 10 years ago in Festac Town, Lagos and has since evolved into an impeccable outfit that has provided a platform for aspiring young music talents to excel.
